The Rural Achievers Program recognises outstanding people who are passionate about agriculture, community involvement, and leadership.

Proudly delivered by the Ballarat Agricultural & Pastoral Society, the program supports emerging leaders who represent the future of regional Victoria.

The Rural Achievers Program is designed to acknowledge and support young people who demonstrate commitment to agriculture, rural industries, and community development.

Participants gain opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and involvement in major agricultural events.

The program reflects the Society’s long-standing mission to strengthen rural communities and encourage the next generation of agricultural ambassadors.

 

Who Can Apply

  • Young people aged 18–30
  • Individuals with a passion for agriculture or rural industries
  • Community-minded applicants involved in volunteering, leadership, or local initiatives
  • Residents of Ballarat and surrounding regions

How to Apply

Becoming a Rural Achiever is a chance to grow, connect, and contribute to the future of agriculture.

 

Application Requirements

  • Completed application form
  • Short personal statement
  • Resume outlining community or agricultural involvement
  • Optional:  Letter of support from a mentor, employer, or community leader
